Events took a sinister and spooky turn this week at our Halloween discos. The children loved dressing up and showing off their moves on the dance floor, as you can see from the pictures below.
This week we are celebrating the wonders of Science in our school. We began the week with a special Mad Science assembly. The children were treated to a host of fun, interactive experiments and were completely enthralled. It was a fabulous learning experience.
The highlight of our Science Week was a trip to the Eureka science museum in Halifax. The children were able to consolidate and further their learning of the science curriculum by exploring the fantastic exhibits in a fun and interactive way. This was an extremely memorable trip and as you can see from the pictures below, it really was a super time had by all!
On Friday 5th February 2016 we were invited to Cardinal Allen High School, to join in a book signing event with writer and TV producer, Gareth P. Jones. Pupils from Euler class took part in a question and answer session with Gareth; award winning author of books including The Society of Thirteen and the newly published Death or Ice Cream? The children discovered how he became an author and where the inspiration for his popular novels comes from.
