  • Mrs Kowalska's Family Challenge

    During our Celebration Assembly today, the winners of Mrs Kowalska's Family Challenge were announced.  Mrs Kowalska chose two families who had worked hard together to research and present all the information they had found out about mathematicians who have made a difference to our lives.  Congratulations to Zyien (Boole Class) and his family and Amelia (Euler Class) and her family - enjoy your prizes!
  • Healthy Eating in Descartes

    Descartes class made the Fleetwood News as 'CLASS OF THE WEEK' -  here is what the article said:

     

    Year three children at St Mary's Catholic Primary School have been learning about Healthy Eating.  The topic culminated in an open afternoon with their parents to show them what they had been learning about.  Teacher, Helen DaCosta said, "They had to design their own healthy dish using the Eat Well plate.  They did really well, it was a good chance for their parents to find out what they had been learning."

  • Premier Sport Baseline Measurement Day

    We have been finding out how fit all the pupils at St Mary's School are. Premier Sport have worked with the children today and recorded their level of fitness.  These results will be used to help develop our PE and School Sport. The children will be reassessed again in the spring and summer terms.

    Mrs Ashworth and Mrs Amu certainly made sure that all the children had a very Merry Christmas Dinner.  Crackers, serviettes, Christmas music and delicious food....perfect!
  • Key Stage 1 Multi Sports Champions!

    Congratulations to the children from the Cayley class who won the Key Stage 1 Multi Skills Festival, at Cardinal Allen High School this afternoon.
