• Consultation for St Mary's Catholic Primary to become an academy

  As agreed by the governors of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, parents and staff will be consulted about their views on our school becoming an academy and joining the Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust. You will receive a letter accompanied with FAQs and a consultation response sheet for your views and questions to be shared. The consultation period will end on the 9th February.  Thank you

• Epiphany Liturgy

  In school, we celebrated the Epiphany with our own liturgy. We discussed having visitors over the holidays, how we prepare and read the story of the Kings arrival to see the baby Jesus. We put up a sign above our hall door for 'Chalking the Door' a Christian Tradition where you write the year and then the letter name of each king, which also translates to 'May God bless this house (school).
