The children from the Cayley class, investigated a half and a quarter of a quantity by filling a range of containers.

Joyeuses Pâques

Happy Easter!  We learnt about Easter traditions in France and made a booklet to take home.  It was also a great opportunity to practise our French numbers.

The Cayley class visited Farmer Parr's on Tuesday 1st March in preparation for their persuasive writing topic. Watch this space for some fantastic writing!

Spelling champions!

Parents and guardians joined the Cayley class today and were shown how to use resources to help solve multiplication problems.

During our dance sessions this week, the children from the Cayley class, created movements using a range of stimuli that you would find on the beach.

Using repeated addition to help understand multiplication.

Autumn II 2015 Newsletter

Autumn I spelling champions.

Monday 11th October 2015

As an introduction to Report Writing, the children went on a visit to Fleetwood beach.

They sketched drawing of what they could see and listed adjectives for effect. The children will now use this information to help write a non-chronological report about Fleetwood beach.

How to use a Roamer

Reading week – 21st September to 25th September.

A hugh thank you to all our parents who came into school to work and learn with their children. It was a fantastic week enjoyed by all.

The Storyteller

Children from the Arthur Cayley class have been enjoying retelling the story James and the Giant Peach. They have made a few tweaks to the original version!
