St Mary's Values Ambassadors

Across the school, we will have a Value Ambassador from each year group to promote our school's core value which will change each half term. The Values Ambassadors will be responsible for promoting the value and rewarding children they see displaying the theme. Children from each year group who wish to be considered have spoken to their class as to why they should be elected. The Values Ambassadors will be good role model's, talk to visitors, promote the core value and look for other children who demonstrate it. They will have fortnightly meetings to discuss how they can promote the value and children who they want to be considered for the value award. They will represent their class in the meetings; providing a meaningful way in which pupils can voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them. The classes have each voted for who they would like to be their Values Ambassador. We will be holding an assembly next week to announce the Values Ambassadors for 2022. 

In assembly, Mrs Bottomley announced the elected Value Ambassadors for each year group. The children were presented with a badge to help children in school identify the Value Ambassadors. We are confident they will all do a super job of helping children be/think positive around school. Their first meeting will take place next week.
