Homework in Osprey Class is given out on Tuesdays and Fridays. Tuesday is English, due in on a Friday and Fridays is Maths, due in on a Tuesday. Children are expected to read at least three times a week (over the weekend, a Wednesday and Thursday). We have a homework chart where the children get a tick for each piece completed. Any extra reading, TTRS, handwriting practice they choose to do will also results in extra ticks. Then on a Friday, the children get raffle tickets to match the amount of homework completed and the winner can choose a prize. For example: sit next a friend for the day, lunch in the classroom, no shoes on in the classroom, teacher's chair for the day, homework pass, pillow for the day and many more to choose from.
