Our classroom is a welcoming, safe and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to learn, explore and achieve their best.

Our working walls and topic displays celebrate the children’s learning and provide key vocabulary and visual prompts to support their understanding and independence. We also have a calming corner where children can take a moment to regulate, reflect and feel ready to learn. We strive to create a classroom where every child feels valued, confident and included.

PE

In PE, the children developed their movement and gymnastics skills by demonstrating a range of travelling actions using their feet, as well as moving on their hands and feet. They also explored and demonstrated controlled balances in both front and back support positions, developing their strength, coordination, balance and body control.

Art- Drawing: Exploring tone, texture and proportion

What a creative start to the new school year! This week, the children have been developing their sketching skills by creating 3D drawings, exploring texture, tone and proportion. They have also experimented with creating textured collages and then used their observational skills to represent the different textures and features within their artwork. It has been wonderful to see the children exploring different techniques and developing their confidence as young artists.
